Edith Savoie holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Université de Moncton and a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University.

 

She held many management positions in the Health Care sector from 1985 until 1997. In 1997 she became director of the North West region for WorkSafeNB where she was responsible for the delivery of integrated compensation, prevention and insurance programs to clients through a single source of service at the regional level.

 

In 2008 Edith Savoie became Director of Human Resources for WorkSafeNB, responsible for providing executive direction and leadership for the effective and efficient delivery of HR services, employment services and, security function for the 450 WorkSafeNB employees. Some of Edith Savoie’s responsibilities included labor relations and contract negotiations, recruitment, retention, and development of human resources, compensation, and benefits programs, health & safety program, performance management and employee wellness and engagement and satisfaction initiatives as well as the development and implementation of the Business Continuity Plan for the Organization.

 

Edith holds a Certified Professional designation from the International Personnel Management Association of Canada since 2019. (IPMA-CP). She is an Active member of IPMA Canada and HRANB.  She is fully bilingual.

 

Edith Savoie is a facilitator for Pro-Results, a consulting firm based in Dieppe which specializes in human resources training.
